Who are we?
Aulaqi specialized medical labs were established in 1990 as the specialized labs aim to provide local and high-quality medical services at a reasonable cost. We are one of the pioneers in providing state-of-the-art medical laboratory services. Our services follow the quality standards and norms that are internationally recognized. The beginning was with the main branch situated in the heart of the capital Sana’a and now exists in five more locations within the capital and one out of the capital located in the city of Aden. Our ambitious plan is to be in all governorates of the republic so that we provide the same high-quality medical laboratory service to all Yemenis.
 
Provided Services:
Since the beginning, our main objective was to provide specialized medical tests that were not found in Yemen at a very reasonable cost. In our belief in community service and despite the unstable situation in Yemen, we offer around 1300 different medical investigations, of which 50 are exclusively conducted at our labs. These exclusive tests include tissue compatibility tests for kidney and liver transplantation, bone marrow tests, and genetic tests that were previously sent to out-of-the-country labs and cost a fortune. Last year, we acquired the first medical equipment in Yemen that is used to diagnose bacteria along with the best antibiotic in a short time which makes it easy for physicians to prescribe the proper medicine.
 
Quality Assurance System:
We, at Aulaqi Specialized Medical Labs, apply all internal and external quality measures in all departments through participation in international quality assurance programs such as (RIQAS), (EQAS), and (Esfica). Recently, we become ISO 9001:2015 certified and we strive to obtain ISO 15189:2013 for the efficient management of medical labs. We also follow a periodic review policy at the headquarters and the branches to guarantee that our staff follows the mentioned standards.  Our commitment to quality has made us the first destination for trainees and researchers from various public and private medical institutions and universities. Some of these trainees are Ph.D. students conducting research in various medical disciplines. We believe that a correct and precise investigation is the first step in seeking treatment for patients. We never recommend unnecessary investigations, instead, we advise patients to see specialists to identify the required investigations.
 
Humanitarian and Community work
Aulaqi Specialized Medical Labs participate and charity campaigns by providing free investigations for those in need. We also offer reduced-cost investigations for cancer and kidney failure patients. Our investigation cost list is considerably reasonable compared to other medical service providers and to the quality we provide. We also participate in community events and conferences to keep up with the latest trends in the medical field.
